A truck driver has been tracked down and charged following a DWI wreck that revealed multiple violations.
The wreck occurred on Wednesday, December 2nd at around 4:00 a.m. in New Gloucester, Maine.
According to The Sun Journal, 35-year-old truck driver Adam R. Holm was hauling apple juice along Route 100 near the Gloucester Hill Road intersection when he lost control, skidded off the highway, and overturned, ripping an axle off of the trailer and blocking the roadway,
Police say Holm then fled the scene of the crash, but was tracked down by police dogs a short distance away. Shortly after Holm was apprehended, police discovered several commercial vehicle violations, and a brief investigation revealed Holm’s license had already been suspended.
Holm has been charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of a crash.
