Semi crash leaves Texas interstate scattered with toilet paper

No one was hurt when a semi truck hauling toilet paper crashed and burned near Dallas early this morning.

The crash occurred around 4:15 a.m. on April 1 in Hutchins, Texas.

According to NBCDFW, a truck driver was hauling a load of industrial-sized rolls of toilet paper to San Antonio from Alabama when he reportedly fell asleep while driving on westbound I-20.

The driver lost control and crashed the semi, causing some of the toilet paper to spill out onto the interstate. The truck caught fire following the crash and was fully engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.

The truck driver didn’t suffer any serious injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The incident closed all lanes of westbound I-20, causing traffic backups.
