Semi trailer busts open, spills beer everywhere

Published:

Police in Indiana say that a truck driver should be okay after a crash that left a load of beer strewn in the highway median.

The crash happened around noon on Wednesday, November 4, in Dillsboro, located in Dearborn County, Indiana.

According to the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office, the truck crashed off of westbound Highway 50.

Images captured at the scene show the trailer broken open and cases of beer spilling out into the median.

Passersby described the spilled beer as “mostly Michelob” with some Budweiser and Bud Light mixed in.

Local news outlet WLWT repots that only minor injuries were reported.

The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office says that Highway 50 westbound is currently closed.

Police have not provided information on how the crash occurred.
