Smoldering hay-truck burned to a crisp

A semi truck hauling hay was completely destroyed after catching fire on an interstate in Idaho on Friday. 

The accident happened on Friday, October 2nd at around 7 p.m. on Interstate 86 in Rupert, Idaho. 

According to Fox News Radio, the semi truck was hauling hay along I 86 when it suddenly caught fire, forcing the rig to pull over onto the shoulder. Idaho State Police responded to the scene but officials were unable to save the truck, and it burned all the way to the ground. 

The road was blocked and traffic was diverted from the scene until after 2 a.m. on Saturday morning. 

The wreck has since been cleared, but there is no word on whether the truck driver was injured in the incident.
