Police say that a motorcycle rider survived a serious crash that sent him plunging over a barrier to the ground below.
The video was captured this week by truck driver Rob Nugent on a Montreal highway.
In the video, you can see that the motorcyclist speeds past Nugent’s truck and collides with the barrier. He loses his seat and tumbles over the edge and his bike continues on the highway without him.
Nugent stopped to assist the motorcyclist, who survived the fall but was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to CTV News.
Police later said that speed may have contributed to the crash.
