A Colorado sheriff has gone viral for an amusing — and puzzling — tweet about the relative size of a boulder blocking the roadway.
On January 27, the San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office shared a tweet to warn drivers about a boulder blocking the roadway near Telluride.
The tweet reads “Large boulder the size of a small boulder is completely blocking east-bound lane Highway 145 mm78 at Silverpick Rd. Please use caution and watch for emergency vehicles in the area.”

The tweet went instantly viral, garnering nearly 40,000 retweets, 208,000 likes, and creating fodder for a lot of internet humor.

The sheriff’s office later provided a tongue-in-cheek update on the size of the boulder.
