There’s no truck parking for 10 days at this Love’s because of Bike Week

Published:

Love’s Travel Stops is warning truckers to make alternate parking plans to accommodate the yearly Bike Week festival at a Florida location.

This year, Bike Week, which takes place from March 6 – 15, will be impacting truck parking at the Ormond Beach, Florida, Love’s location.

Because of major traffic drawn by the Bike Week event, Love’s is enforcing a “Fuel and Go” only policy for truckers and will not allow truck parking from the evening of Thursday, March 5, through the afternoon of Sunday, March 15.

During past Bike Weeks, two to three mile traffic backups have been reported on U.S. 1 and I-95, north and south of the Love’s exit and the travel stop.

Bike Week is an annual event that affects truck parking at the Ormond Beach Love’s location. A similar 3 day “Biketoberfest” event is held in the same area in the fall.

Love’s says that their team “understands the inconvenience for our customers during this biannual event.”
