This might just be your new favorite trucking tune

Published:

Jerry Reed and Red Sovine may be gone, but they probably would’ve gotten a kick out of the new trucking anthem “It Didn’t Fall From the Sky.”

The music video in support of the song was released by Jesse James Dupree & Dixie Inc on April 23 and it features multiple actual American truckers.

The song is a tribute to the hard working U.S. trucker and reminds listeners that the food on their table “didn’t fall from the sky/or magically appear/it was bought here on his back/shifting 10 hard gears.”

Jesse James Dupree is best known for his work as the lead singer for the rock band Jackyl.

The song isn’t Dupree’s first effort to support truck drivers. He also spoke out in support of a “slow roll” trucker protest against ELDs in Indianapolis in 2019.
