Texas police say that a truck driver suffered major injuries after his vehicle tumbled off an overpass.
The crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Thursday morning in Cypress, Texas.
Rescue crews responded to US 290 near SH 99 after a tractor trailer “reportedly fell off the overpass.”
The truck driver was trapped inside the wrecked semi and required extrication by firefighters.
The truck driver was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.
