A man is in critical condition after a shooting incident involving a truck driver in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Tulsa police investigators say officers got a call around midnight on August 3 from a truck driver who was unloading at NAPA Auto Parts near Admiral and Sheridan.
The truck driver told police someone was trying to break into his truck.
When police arrived at the scene, one person was shot in the chest by a shotgun. The man was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition.
The truck driver was not willing to cooperate or answer police questions. He also refused to let officers search his truck.
“The driver of this vehicle has requested some legal counsel before he answers any of our questions. Our crime scene is here on location trying to piece it together. We don’t know exactly where the crime occurred. We know it’s in this general area,” Tulsa Police Department Captain Richard Meulenberg told local outlet News On 6.
According to officials, firearms could be seen in the cab of the truck.
No one is in custody.
This is a developing story.
