A truck impaled the center guardrail of Interstate 93 early Wednesday morning in New Hampshire.
State troopers responded around 5:50 a.m. to a 2016 Kenworth truck that struck a guardrail dividing the north and southbound lanes of I-93 in Franconia Notch. The truck destroyed approximately 300 feet of guardrail before coming to a stop.
In a news release, Lt. Gary A. Prince said no one was injured and no other vehicles were involved.
Police have not identified the driver but they have said fatigue appears to be the cause of the crash.
The Franconia Fire Department and NH Department of Environmental Services were called to the scene to assist with a fuel and oil spill.
