Truck driver caught ‘throwing sparks and rubber debris’ for seven miles

The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) took to Facebook to call out a truck driver for a major safety violation.

On Friday, October 30, the Georgia DPS shared an eyebrow-raising photo along with a description of the violation.

They wrote:

This week, Trooper Edwards (Post 23-Brunswick) observed this CMV traveling in the left lane throwing sparks and rubber debris onto I-95 in Brunswick from the 12 mile marker to the 5 mile marker. MCO Cutler (Region 9) arrived on the scene and conducted an inspection and placed the vehicle out of service.

The Georgia DPS regularly uses their Facebook page to point out CMV violations.
