A truck driver reported missing for days was found safe, authorities said on Thursday.
Kentucky-based truck driver Felix Villegas was found alive in Amarillo, Texas, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
Villegas had been reported missing by family members earlier this week after his daughter had not heard from him since October 31. His truck was found and towed from a truck stop location in Amarillo, but Villegas was no where to be found.
Villegas has been able to make contact with family members, who are working to arrange transportation for him to get home to Kentucky.
It isn’t clear why Villegas went missing, but family members say that he is currently receiving medical treatment.
