Trucker’s family searches for dog who went missing in massive I-80 pileup

Keep an eye out for Cleo!

A trucker who was injured in a massive pileup on I-80 in Wyoming on Sunday is desperately hoping to find his furry co-pilot who went missing during the crash.

On Sunday, around 140 vehicles were involved in a winter weather pileup on I-80 near Rawlins, Wyoming. The crash left three people dead and several others injured.

One of the injured truck drivers, Mike Masunas, lost his traveling companion during the pileup.

Masunas is recovering in the hospital with broken ribs — and his pitbull Cleopatra is nowhere to be seen.

Family member Audrey Faye has put out a call for help from the public in locating the dog.

She writes, “His beloved princess and constant companion, Cleopatra is missing. It is believed that she may have gone threw the windshield of the semi he was driving. We are hoping through social media and collaboration with local authorities that we can find our beautiful princess Cleo. She is a smaller blue Pittbull weighing about 45 pounds. She is a outgoing social girl. She is chipped also. If there is anyone that may have any type of information. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Help us find our beautiful princess. She is extremely cherished and loved.”

The family asks that you contact Mike Masunas if you have information on Cleopatra. You can click here to get in touch.
