Trucker’s window blown out on I-75

A truck driver posted pictures of a blown-out window on Facebook. According to the driver, her window was blown out while driving on Interstate 75 in Ohio.

In her Facebook post, Tricia Birchmeier said she wasn’t sure if someone threw something at her truck or if the truck was struck by a bullet.

“Going through Ohio in between Dayton & Cincinnati heading North on i75 … I heard a pop & my window exploded…glass flew all over me even on drivers side….got piper too! I swear someone threw something or shot at me…Crazy!!!,” Tricia Birchmeier said in the Facebook post on Saturday, August 29.

The post was shared in the Trucker Feed Facebook group.

“That week 3 truckers were snoped down by this highway shooter!” Birchmeier said in the comments.

In June, a veteran truck driver said that his truck was showered with bullets on Interstate 70 in Ohio.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, June 2 on westbound I-70 near mile marker 47 in Ohio.

Sommers told CDLLife that he was going about his daily driving routine and traveling at 70 m.p.h. when he heard the “pop pop pop” of multiple rounds.
