A truck driver was run over by his own rig in Laredo earlier this week.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 17th at around 2:30 p.m. near Laredo, Texas.
According to the Laredo Morning Times, authorities believe that truck driver Alvarez Diaz, of Mexico, forgot to set the brakes when he arrived at a trucking business, allowing the rig to roll.
Police say that Diaz was attempting to run to the truck to stop it when he was fatally struck by the runaway rig.
The Laredo Police Department crash team is still investigating the incident.
