Minnesota police say that a wayward turkey gave a trucker a fright near the city of Eagan on Wednesday.
The Eagan Police Department shared photos of the close call, which happened on I-35E.
Police said, “Close Call: A turkey flew through this semi’s windshield on 35E today. Driver of the truck and the turkey are ok. After removing the bird, the turkey went back into a wooded area like nothing happened.”
The truck driver was able to safely pull over and waived down a police officer to help following the bird strike.
