Pennsylvania State Police say that two people lost their lives in a major pileup crash in the north/central part of the state on Wednesday.
The crash happened during winter weather conditions on Wednesday afternoon in the westbound lanes of I-80 between Exit 185 and Exit 178 in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. Police estimate that 30 to 60 vehicles were involved in the pileup crash.
Pennsylvania State Police report multiple injuries and two fatalities as a result of the pileup.
UPDATE: Initial reports indicate this multi-vehicle crash involves 30-60 vehicles with multiple injuries including 2 fatalities.

All lanes of westbound I-80 are closed until further notice. PennDOT says traffic is being detoured onto Interstate 180 west and Route 220 south.
