Authorities say that at least two people were killed early Friday morning in an explosion at a manufacturing facility.
The explosion occurred before 4:30 a.m. at the Watson Grinding and Manufacturing facility in northwest Houston, Texas.
Residents reported hearing and feeling the blast 30 miles away from the explosion site. Several homes were knocked off of their foundations by the blast. Houston Police say that the debris field is about half a mile.

Police have confirmed that two people were killed in the explosion. It isn’t yet clear how many were injured.
Authorities say that they do not believe that the explosion was a terrorist act or intentionally caused at this time.
Houston firefighters say that they have secured a leaking tank of propylene on the facilities. Propylene is flammable and can explode.
Watson Grinding and Manufacturing provides machining and thermal spray services, according to the company’s website.
The ATF is assisting the Houston Fire Department in the investigation into the explosion.
