Two trucks were stolen from the same Louisiana truck stop this month, police say

Published:

Police are investigating the theft of two semi trucks in Louisiana this month.

According to the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers program, on August 10th, a 2014 Peterbilt was stolen from a truck stop along the 100 block of the frontage road in Duson, Louisiana. The tractor reads “Dailey Trucks LLC” and was hooked up to a black flatbed trailer. Both the tractor and trailer are still missing.

Security footage shows two suspects, one white, only black, in Dodge Ram Dually trucks.

The second stolen rig was taken from the same location by a team of four people in a light colored BMW. The tractor was discovered by police a short time later, but the flatbed Fontaine brand trailer with tubing loaded on the back is still missing.

Police are asking the public for any information on the robberies and urge people to call the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers at 337-789-TIPS(8477).

A $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone who supplies officers with information leading to the arrest of the criminals in question.
