UDOT prohibits truck travel on 99 miles of I-80 due to high winds

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is restricting all truck travel on a portion of I-80 due to high winds.

UDOT announced the travel restriction at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18.

From UDOT: “Driver Alert: Semi-trucks and high profile vehicles are prohibited on I-80 in both directions through Tooele County (MP 0-99) due to high winds. Use an alternate route and check the UDOT Traffic App or @waze for updates.”
