A unique tractor trailer complete with two giant LED screens and a full sound system is traveling across the United States in support of Trump and ‘positive political advertisements from any political party or affiliation.’ Joseph P. shared pictures of the rig with to the CDLLife App.
‘Red Giant’ owner Bryan Dax has always known his rig was perfect for advertisements, showing support of sports teams, and other fun promotions, but 2020 has been a little bit different.
Back in July, Dax was approached by a sponsor, described as an “interested and enthusiastic American that wanted to promote the 2020 re-election of President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence” using the Red Giant’s semi-tractor and trailer. At that time, Dax was in the market for a new sponsor to utilize the rig, so he accepted the offer.
The sponsor has since purchased and installed the new graphics in support of President Trump’s reelection campaign, but the team has reached a bit of a road block – the sponsor was unable to provide enough funds for operation, including insurance, fuel, maintenance, and all other related equipment and operating expenses.
Now, Dax and the “interested and enthusiastic American” are asking the public for help in spreading their reelection message through donations that will keep the ‘Red Giant’ moving and in tip-top shape. The team plans to take the rig though all 48 contiguous states from now through Election Day on Tuesday, November 3rd.
“While the Red Giant does not endorse any candidate,” reads the GoFundMe page.
“It is important to provide a platform upon which only positive political advertisements can be displayed from any political party or affiliation.”
The page continues: “If you support the re-election of President Trump, positive political ads, or simply like really awesome big-rigs, then please support the Red Giant in its current endeavors. Any donation, small or large, makes a huge difference to not only the outcome of the election but helps support an American small business located within the heartland of our great nation.”
