VIDEO: Sparks fly as train shoves semi hundreds of yards down tracks

A wild truck vs. train crash was caught on camera in Indiana on Friday afternoon.

The crash happened around 5:40 p.m. on October 9 in Pendleton, Indiana.

According to reports, a truck traveling across the railroad tracks at U.S. 36 got stuck. Nearby construction crews attempted to assist the struck truck, but they weren’t able to move the truck before it was hit by a fast moving train.

The collision separated the truck from the trailer. The truck was pushed several hundred feet down the tracks. Both the train and the truck caught fire.

The truck driver was not inside the truck and wasn’t hurt. The train conductor was treated for minor injuries.
