Watch as 50 semis convoy as ‘one last salute’ for 40 year veteran driver

A Wisconsin trucking company organized a memorial convoy over the weekend to recognize a driver who recently passed away.

The convoy took place on Saturday, September 19, along Highway 33 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

The convoy was held to honor the memory of Larry Sekel, who racked up 3 million safe miles during his 40 years in trucking. The convoy, which was organized by Caine Transfer Inc., travelled past Sekel’s home and then the cemetery where he had been laid to rest.

The convoy was led by Sekel’s own semi, which was adorned with a sign that read, “Thank you for all the years of laughter, dedication and service. We will miss you! Rest in peace.”
