A woman was struck and killed by a semi truck at a truck stop in Missouri.
According to KLOR News, the incident occurred on Thursday morning at the Hood’s Truck Stop in Bois D’Arc, Missouri.
Missouri Highway Patrol Cpl. Trenton Badgett said that a semi truck “struck a pedestrian, but this remains a crash investigation, not a criminal investigation,” KOLR reported.
Badgett said that the victim was an adult woman. Her next of kin has been notified.
At this time, no further details are being released. The accident remains under investigation.
