$24 million worth of methamphetamine was discovered inside of a US bound semi truck in Texas this week.
The meth was discovered on Wednesday, March 3rd at the US port of Entry in Laredo, Texas.
According to Charlotte Alerts News, the semi truck was manifesting a shipment of acrylic paint from Mexico, and was referred to a canine and non-intrusive imaging system inspection, which resulted in the discovery of the 28 buckets filled with 1,234.58 pounds of methamphetamine.
Officers seized the narcotics and turned the case over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement-Homeland Security Investigations special agents.
