$72.5k bail set for woman who chucked rock at passing truck driver

A woman is in jail after throwing rocks at semi trucks and blocking traffic. 

The incident occurred on Monday, January 11th at around 1:05 p.m. in Roseburg, Oregon. 

According to KQ News Radio, 28-year-old Ashley Basgall walked out into traffic at the 100 block of Garden Valley Boulevard and was almost struck by a car, prompting onlookers to call 911. 

While standing in traffic, Basgall picked up a rock and threw it at a passing tractor trailer, shattering the windshield. 

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Basgall has since been charged with first degree criminal mischief, and second degree counts of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.

Her bail is set at $72,500.
