Police in Alabama are seeking public help in identifying several people suspected of stealing wallets and other belongings from truckers.
Last week, the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office shared photos and issued a call for public assistance in locating a number of suspects who they say targeted sleeping truck drivers in Falkville, Alabama, on December 30.
The victims reportedly told police that suspects had broken out the side windows from their semi trucks while they were sleeping and stole their wallets and other belongings.
Debit cards taken from the wallets were reportedly used at Falkville stores in addition to a Flying J truck stop in Birmingham and a Walmart store in Roebuck.
Police say that the suspects were last seen driving a white Chevrolet Avalanche.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Trevor Clemmons with the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office at (256)734-0342.
