A woman was arrested Friday after running naked into a trucking yard and attempting to flee police in a semi truck.
The incident occurred on Friday, February 26th in Wichita Falls, Texas.
According to Texhonamas News, police received calls reporting a naked woman in the roadway at around 4:30 a.m. and responded to the scene. When they arrived, a witness directed them to the nearby Maverick Trucking Yard on Ameron Road and they began searching for the suspect. Officers soon found the naked woman inside of a running semi truck, attempting to put the rig in gear in order to flee the scene.
The woman ignored officers instructions to put her hands behind her back and instead jumped out of the cab and ran. Officers eventually caught up to her, but she resisted arrest and officers were forced to tackle her to the ground.
As 35-year-old Armonique Karnett Jefferson was being booked into the Wichita County Jail she became angry and kicked a detention officer in the testicles.
Jefferson has since been charged with assaulting an officer, evading arrest, and resisting arrest. She is being held on $7,000 bond.
