A Budweiser beer truck created a messy cleanup for crews after crashing into the side of a residential house in Avon Lake, Ohio.
The accident occurred early in the morning on May 7. According to Avon Lake Police, the Budweiser truck was traveling northbound on Lear Road and swerved to avoid crashing into a car eastbound on Electric Boulevard that had failed to stop at the intersection. As a result, the truck smashed into the side of a residential house.
The driver of the car was cited for failure to yield right of way.
The truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The homeowner was unharmed during the crash but the house was significantly damaged.
