A Facebook user shared terrifying video of the moment that a car driver struck a stray tire in the roadway, causing the vehicle to go airborne.
The video was recently captured on I-80 near Gary, Indiana, by Facebook user MzDeanna Smith.
In the video, the rogue tire is struck by a Toyota driver, causing the front of the car to buck up into the air and triggering a violent series of rollovers.
After witnessing the incident, Smith stopped to help the Toyota driver and called 911. The Toyota driver was reportedly able to walk away with no serious injuries.
