Several lanes of a Tennessee highway have been shut down for cleanup of a multi vehicle wreck that left one semi truck charred and overturned.
The accident happened on April 6th at around 9:49 a.m. in Loudon County, Tennessee.
According to 10 News, the multi vehicle crash occurred on Highway 321 at Tellico Parkway and left a semi truck overturned and flaming, its load of garbage strewn across the highway.

The truck driver was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution, but was not described as having life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The fully engulfed semi truck has since been extinguished, but both lanes of the westbound side of Highway 321 are expected to remain closed for an “extended amount of time” as crews work to clear the wreckage and investigate the incident.
As of 12:30 p.m. there was still no estimated time of reopening.
