
A motorcyclist is dead after striking a deer and sliding into the path of an oncoming semi truck in Minnesota early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened on June 15th at around 2:45 a.m. on Highway 95 in Princeton Township.
According to Kare 11 News, the motorcyclist was traveling east on Highway 95 when it struck a deer in the road. The impact caused the motorcycle to overturn and slide, throwing the rider into the westbound lane of the highway in front of a pickup truck hauling a trailer.
The pickup driver swerved but still ran over the motorcyclist with the trailer. A semi truck then also struck the rider, who did not survive the incident.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
