The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) says that a major interstate will remain closed well into the afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash in a construction zone.
The crash happened on Friday morning on northbound I-25 near Loveland, Colorado.
According to reports, two semi trucks traveling on I-25 collided in the construction zone, pinning a passenger vehicle between the two trucks.
CSP says that no one was hurt.
The interstate is expected to remain closed for hours for investigation and to repair highway barriers.
The passenger vehicle driver said that the crash happened as he attempted to pass the tanker on this way to work. He said that he “misjudged the area between them, so I clipped the back of one of the trailers and it spun me and I hit the tanker and it squished me in between both of them.”
