Driver miraculously okay after rig struck by lightning

A truck driver is miraculously unhurt after his rig was struck by lightning in north Texas on Wednesday night. 

The incident happened on April 14th at around 6:30 p.m. in Archer County, Texas. 

According to Texahoma News, the semi was driving along Highway 82 near N W Avenue, west of FM 368, when it was suddenly struck by lightning, damaging the rig but leaving the driver miraculously unscathed. 

Luckily, the shocked driver was able to pull over and contact officials, who shut down all but one lane of the highway for investigation and removal. 

The incident was cleared by late Wednesday evening.
