Driver questioned while pulling fire-damaged trailer on bare rims

Published:

Police stopped a semi truck hauling a severely damaged trailer in Pennsylvania on Tuesday evening.

The incident happened on May 11th near Blair County, Pennsylvania.

According to WTAJ News, officers noticed a big rig hauling a trailer with clear fire damage and bare rims, so they pulled the semi truck over at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Burgoon Road in Altoona.

Upon further investigation, the officers were told that the trailer had been damaged in a fire several months ago, and that it was being hauled to a junkyard.

Officers are still investigating why the trailer was being driven to the junkyard instead of being transported appropriately.
