Emergency crews had to free a driver from his smashed rig earlier this week.
The crash happened on Wednesday, March 24th at around 2:15 p.m. in Caddo Parish, Louisiana.
According to KSLA 12 News, the semi truck struck an overpass support beam at Interstate 220 and Lakeshore Drive, seriously damaging the cab of the truck and trapping the unnamed driver inside.
Emergency responders then used the jaws of life to free the driver before transporting them to a nearby hospital.
The exact reasons behind the crash, along with the extent of the driver’s injuries, are not known.
