Farm animals run amok on Illinois interstate

A collection of farm animals ran wild on an interstate in Illinois after a semi truck wreck early on Sunday morning. 

The accident happened on September 19th at around 7:30 a.m. in Normal, Illinois. 

According to Central Illinois Pride News, the semi truck was traveling along Interstate 55 at milepost 162 when it overturned, breaking open the trailer and setting a collection of goats and sheep loose on the roadway. 

Thankfully, the truck driver and animals were uninjured. Although the reason for the rollover is still unclear. 

Nearby farmers rallied to help corral the loose animals and the incident has since been cleared.
