Officials in West Virginia say that a former trucking company employee has been arrested in connection with a fire that caused tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage to property.
Elwood “Lynn” Hebb, 45, turned himself into police custody on June 3rd, 2021, following a 13 month investigation by the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office and the West Virginia State Police into a fire at Anytime Trucking Company in Elkins, West Virginia.
Hebb was formerly employed by Anytime Trucking.
The fire occurred on May 25, 2020 and resulted in almost $60,000 in damages to property.
Hebb has been charged with one count of first-degree arson, three counts of third-degree arson, one count of burning insured property, and one count of conspiracy, officials say.
Hebb is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
