A four semi truck pile-up caused only minor injuries in West Virginia early on Friday morning.
The chain-reaction crash happened on July 2nd in Berkeley County on Interstate 81 at 1:42 a.m.
According to WDVM News, “one of the truck drivers was heading northbound, he said he saw an 18-wheeler in front of him and he was not sure if it’s moving or not, and he ran into the back of it,” said Deputy Ezell. This initial crash then caused a chain reaction with two other semi trucks.
A few of the truckers involved suffered minor injuries, and a team driver that was resting in a sleeper at the time of the accident was transported to a nearby hospital, but none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
