Volvo Trucks North America focused on truckers’ four-legged best friends in their grin-inducing new ad campaign.
The “Happy Drivers, Happy Dogs” commercial was released last week by Volvo to highlight the VNL with Turbo Compound.
The ad features pups of all shapes and sizes in the passenger seat of a semi, enjoying the freedom of the road (and the truck’s 16% fuel efficiency?).
This is not the first time that pups have popped up in auto ads — a 2019 Subaru commercial featured a family of dogs in a Forester who got an airhorn salute from a trucker pup behind the wheel of a big rig (it’s not as weird as it sounds).
