The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) is reminding drivers to move over for emergency vehicles after a State Police cruiser was badly damaged in a collision with a semi truck.
The crash occurred on Tuesday morning on I-75 in Tift County, Georgia.
Georgia DPS says that Trooper First Class (TFC) Wright was “working in an off-duty capacity” when the vehicle was struck from the rear by a tractor trailer that failed to move over.
The crash forced the police cruiser into the guardrail.
Wright suffered only minor injuries.
“Please Move Over for First Responders!” Georgia DPS said.
