A trucker shared stunning video of a truck rollover captured in Alberta on Monday morning.
The video clip was captured around 7 a.m. on March 29 on the Trans-Canada Highway in southeast Alberta while a severe winter weather storm was ravaging the area.
YouTube user Pinoy Trucker told CTV News that two trucks were parked in the far right lane of westbound Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway), so he merged into the center lane to pass. As he merged, another semi truck approached from behind and had to take evasive action to avoid hitting him.
The crash was caught on a GoPro mounted to the driver’s head.
The crashed driver wasn’t seriously injured.
This was one of several crashes that occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway on Monday morning, when whiteout conditions contributed to a pileup involving up to 70 vehicles in the westbound lanes.
