A forward-thinking Illinois-based trucking company just debuted a major pay increase to thank drivers for their productivity and driving talent.

Markham, Illinois-headquartered Arka Express recently announced a major CPM increase for long haul and regional drivers as a way to reward current drivers and help expand their team of elite trucking professionals.

Effective immediately,  New OTR drivers with Arka Express now earn $0.60 CPM. OTR drivers with Arka Express also enjoy predictable home-time, a pet and rider policy, and great benefits.

Regional drivers will also take-home higher pay thanks to the new pay package, with CPM rates varying depending on the area.  New Northeast Drivers will now earn $.70 CPM while all drivers will see increases between 7 to 12 CPM. “The increases are free of stipulations or gimmicks to boost the CPM. Our drivers deserve upfront and clear pay rates, and we are going to deliver on that promise,” said President and CEO, Arnold Kozys.

Arka Express’ Director of Driver Recruiting, Corey Teague said “This pay bump reflects our commitment to a driver-first company culture. We raised pay for our current drivers as well as future Arka Express driving associates. For more than 10 years, this company has thrived and grown by focusing first on driver satisfaction and success. By paying drivers what they deserve, Arka Express is able to attract and retain elite driving talent while providing customers with the highest levels of service.”

Other perks for drivers joining the Arka Express team include newer model equipment with automatic transmissions, affordable health and dental insurance for drivers and their families, 24/7 access to dispatchers, vacation pay, and referral bonus pay.

Arka Express is an asset-based dry van carrier based out of Chicago and Atlanta, servicing the Midwest, Southeast, and East Coast regions. In just a decade, the company has grown from a 35-power unit carrier to a fleet of more than 450 trucks. If you’re ready to join the expanding Arka Express family, please click here to get started!
