A high wind warning is in effect for portions of Southern Colorado today.
The warning is in effect on Monday, March 29th for the mountains, valleys, and Interstate 25 corridor.
According to… the warning will remain in place through the afternoon as gusts between 40 and 60 mph plague the area. I-25 near Walsenburg may also see wind restrictions, depending on how the weather develops.
Following the windy weather, cold temperatures are expected to bring snow to the area overnight.
