
A semi truck fire has caused some major delays on Interstate 5 out of Tacoma, Washington on this Friday morning.
Two southbound lanes of I-5 near Center Drive at milepost 118 remain closed as of 10:45 a.m. CST as crews work to clear the wreckage.

Police say that the fire was started at around 5:55 a.m. by a brake fire on the truck that quickly spread to the load of mattresses it was hauling. Luckily, no injuries were reported.
“Expect southbound I-5 backups approaching DuPont through late this morning until we can clean up this mess,” WSDOT said in the tweet.
