Love’s Travel Stops kicked off April by opening a new truck stop in Jones County, Mississippi.

The new 11,000 square foot store opened on Thursday, April 1, and is located off I-59 in Sandersville, Mississippi.

Amenities at the Sandersville store include 93 truck parking spaces, a McDonald’s restaurant, eight diesel bays, five showers, laundry facilities, a Speedco, a CAT Scale, and a dog park.

“We want to thank the town of Sandersville and the Jones County Board of Supervisors for helping to get our 17th location in Mississippi open,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “Our team members are excited to help professional drivers and four-wheel customers get back on the road quickly and safely, with the best amenities and services available on the highway.”

In January, Love’s announced plans to open 40 new store locations nationwide in 2020. The company says that this will allow them add about 3000 new truck parking spots to their network this year.

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores was founded in 1964 and currently operates approximately 520 locations in 41 states.
