Arkansas State Police are investigating the death of a man who they say jumped off of an interstate overpass onto a commercial vehicle traveling below.
The incident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. on August 24 in Van Buren, Arkansas, according to a press release from state police.
Police say that 26 year old Dillon Allen Wynn jumped from the Lee Creek Road onto the trailer of a truck that was eastbound on I-40.
Troopers believe that after landing on top of the trailer, Wynn rolled off and fell onto the roadway below.
Wynn was transported to a local hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries.
The incident is under investigation by Troop H of the Arkansas State Police.
