A man who admittedly aimed and shot at a truck driver in Tennessee over the weekend has been taken into custody.

The road-rage incident happened on Saturday, October 23rd near Nashville, Tennessee.

According to Fox 17 News, 29-year-old Jose Perez was driving along eastbound Interstate 24 when he and a semi truck got into some type of minor wreck.

The two then pulled over to deal with the collision and Perez pulled out a gun, which he then aimed at the driver’s side door of the semi truck and shot.

Luckily, the truck driver was only injured by shattered glass, and did not sustain any bullet wounds.

Perez later told detectives that he had intended to hit the truck driver with the shots, and investigators found three bullets inside of the cab door. It is not clear what led to the minor collision and subsequent road rage.

Perez has since been jailed in Davidson County on a $75,000 bond.
