A semi truck overturned in Vancouver on Friday, causing major backups during the morning commute.
The accident happened on January 8th beneath the Dollarton overpass above Highway 1 in North Vancouver, Canada.
According to Global News, the semi truck overturned and crashed into a pillar of the Dollarton Overpass on the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge near Highway 1, blocking the westbound lanes of the highway.

The truck driver was not seriously injured in the crash, but the bridge will need to be inspected for structural damage before it can be fully reopened.
The highway was cleared by 9:45 a.m. The exact reason for the crash has not been released.
UPDATE: The driver has been arrested for driving while impaired and driving while prohibited.
